From traditional Cretan tavernas and seafood restaurants to cafés, beach bars, and casual snack spots, these are our personal recommendations for breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner, and local flavors, all within walking distance of Dolphin Stalis Apartments.

🥐

Breakfast, Coffee & Brunch
Start your day with breakfast, coffee or brunch at Flavour Bakery. Don't miss their homemade ice cream, made with fresh milk and available in a variety of delicious flavours.

If you prefer to enjoy your breakfast next to the sea or by the pool, Stefania Studios and Sofi Beach are excellent choices.

For a more premium breakfast experience, I would recommend Soleil Hotel.

All of these places are located just a few metres from our accommodation.

🍴

Modern Restaurants by the Sea
For carefully prepared food, fresh fish and a good selection of wine, I recommend Akti Restaurant or Mastoras.

Both are recently renovated restaurants with a modern, warm atmosphere, located next to the sea.

🍴

Traditional Greek Food
For a restaurant with a strong Greek character and traditional atmosphere, visit Hellas Taverna.

If you would like to eat somewhere popular with locals and experience more authentic Greek cuisine, I recommend Tsourlis Taverna or Kotsos Taverna.

🍝

Italian Food
For Italian cuisine, my first recommendation is Amici.

It is conveniently located next to the church and offers a good selection of Italian dishes.

-

Premium & Special Dining
For something more refined, distinctive and higher-end, I recommend Beachcomber or Anatolia.

These are good choices for a special evening or a more premium dining experience.

🍔

Quick & Affordable Food
For something quick, casual and affordable, visit King’s Street Food.

You can find burgers, crêpes, gyros, pizza, falafel and several other street-food options.

🥡

Chinese Food
For Chinese cuisine, the best and most convenient choice is Jasmine House, located right next to the accommodation.

A Local Tip
As in many busy tourist destinations, I recommend being cautious with restaurants whose staff are overly persistent, whistle at passers-by, repeatedly pressure people to enter, or offer free drinks to attract customers.

A warm welcome is always appreciated, but excessive pressure is not usually a sign of the best dining experience. It is often better to choose a restaurant because you like its menu, atmosphere and reputation rather than because someone insists that you enter.
